Baskervilles is a family-founded organisation where everyone in the family can get fit and have fun!
Baskervilles is a not-for-profit organisation with all profits reinvested back into the business for the benefit of our members.
Founded over 40 years ago by teachers Robin and Barbara Baskerville. Baskervilles employs over 60 full and part-time coaches with a wealth of experience in gymnastics. Robin and Barbara’s three children Emma, Vicky and Paul manage a team of professionals who provide a stimulating and educational environment for all ages and abilities.
As well as our hub centre on Englishcombe Lane, Baskervilles run weekly gymnastic classes in a number of locations in and around Bath. We offer fun-filled pre-school, school-aged, freestyle and adult gymnastics and fitness classes.

“Baskervilles is a wonderfully place! My children have attended since babies, moving up through Baby Gym, Play gym, Parent and Toddlers and Gym Tots. We had fun together, playing in a safe, exciting and friendly environment, with the wonderful coaches always providing support. My children now attend the after-school sessions, and they come out bubbling with enthusiasm for what they have done that week. As well as gymnastics, they are taught to have fun, work hard and be the best they can possibly be. My eldest has performed in several Baskervilles competitions, which are open to gymnasts of all school age levels. For her, being able to work towards a performance, and to be part of something bigger than just herself, these have been wonderful experiences. She also occasionally attends one of the holiday courses, and completely enjoys the chance to have a whole day in Baskervilles. My fitness, and mental health, have improved immeasurably, and I've felt like part of a community. Baskervilles isn't just a gymnastics centre. “I highly recommend Baskervilles. All the coaches do a fabulous job to make sure each gymnast is celebrated and they adapt their style to meet individual needs. Our daughters started when they were babies at Softplay and worked their way through the pre-school programme. Our eldest has progressed through Fastrack and Intermediate classes and has now joined the girls Squad. We have seen a massive growth in her confidence and she has made loads of new friends. All the gymnasts and coaches are so welcoming, enthusiastic and hard working. Baskervilles is a fabulous family gym. The coaches are highly skilled and provide a safe environment for all abilities to learn.”

“Over the years I have tried most of what Baskervilles has to offer; Parent & Toddler, FreeG, School Age, Squad gymnastics, Baby Gym, Family Gym and most recently the fitness classes aimed at parents with young children (who can join in too). Each of the sessions in its own right has been led by committed, passionate and conscientious individuals.
